Yankuba Jarju has now joined Abdoulie Sanyang and Mohammed Badamoesi in scoring their club’s first goal of the season. It took Yankuba Jarju 59 minutes to open SO Cholet account as they won 2-0 against Chateauroux in the French National League.

England

Ebou Adams replaced Joe Ralls as he made his home debut for Blue Birds. Adams was taken out after stiffness in his back muscles. Cardiff suffered a 1-2 defeat against QPR in the Skybet championship.

Germany

HSV Hamburg labored to beat ROT-WEISS ESSEN 4-3 in Essen to advance to the second round of the DFB-Pokal. Jatta gave the visitors the lead in the 37th minute. He won the ball off Jose-Enrique in the RWE half before running through on goal and smashing a shot home at the near post to make it 1-0. Jatta restored HSV’s lead in the 54th minute; he won the ball from center-back Felix Bastians before placing a left-footed shot into an almost empty net to make it 2-1.

Denmark

Musa Juwara was voted the man of the match against Midtjylland on Sunday. The former Bologna man has provided assists against Silkeborg and FC Copenhagen. Vejle lost 2-1 bringing their number of games to four games without a win; Hamza Barry and Musa Juwara maintained their spot in Ivan Prelec’s starting XI.

Czech Republic

James Gomez got his entire 90 minutes appearance in AC Sparta Praha’s 5-1 win over FK Jablonec on Saturday. Gomez, who played against FK Pardubice before Saturday’s game, will be hoping to cement his place.

Lamin Jawo and Mladá Boleslav were handed their first defeat of the season against Slavia Prague thanks to Poulol’s own goal. Jawo lasted for 64 minutes.

Kazakhstan

Pa Omar Jobe was the man of the day following his brace in the Astana Derby. Jobe scored twice to take his goal tally to 11. He is three goals shy of the leading goalscorer. After Pa Omar’s heroic performance, FK Zhenys edged Astana II 2-0. He has now scored in the last four games.

Estonia

Foday Trawally beat Goalkeeper Ebrima Jarju at the near post with a stunning header to give the visitors the lead and his sixth campaign goal. Viidas scored a late goal to rescue a point for Paide Linnameeskond, who also saw their hope for the top-three finish slipping out of their hands.
