Belgium
Zulte Waregem came close to making it two wins in a row but was held at home by KVC Westerlo to a 1-1 scoreline. Alieu Fadera completed the full throttle. The host came close to finding a winner but was denied by the crossbar.
France
Amine Sbaï gave the visitors the lead in the 10th minute as Grenoble reached the Quarterfinals for the first time since 2018. Abdoulie Sanyang lasted 78 minutes, while Yayha Kujabi played the full throttle for Stade Plabennecois.
Egypt
Alieu Jatta and Asyut Petroleum ended the first round with an incredible feat. They won 1-0 against Telephonaat Beni Suef, with Alieu assisting the goal.
Test matches
Alasana Manneh and Musa Juwara got minutes under their belt, with the latter replacing Yankuba Minteh in Odense Boldklub’s 4-0 friendly match defeat to FC Nordsjælland Saturday.
