Barrow stunning strike, Jatta’s debut match, Dembo hits brace as Manneh gets off the mark in Sweden

The scorpions retunred after the international break with a banger. Musa Barrow scored a stunning strike in Saudi Arabia; goalmachine Dembo Darboe opened his account in Azerbaijan as Abdoulie Manneh gets the derby bragging rights against Kalmar FF.
 
 Italy
 
Ange Yoan Bonny gave the visitor’s the early lead in the 20th minute. Cesc Fabgreas men responded in the 45th minutes through Argentinian striker Nico Paz. The former Real Madrid youth player sprung the offside trap to control Fadera’s through ball and scored from eight yards.
 
 
Denmark
 
Vejle fall in the capital following their 3-1 away defeat against Copenhagen. The host took the lead twice before the visitors reduced it in the 77th minute via Kirkegaard. Musa Juwara lasted the entire game while Hamza Barry came on immediately after the break.
 
League leaders Odense Bk returned to winning ways following their 5-1 win against Roskilde. James Gomez played the entire game while Alasana Manneh played 81 minutes before being replaced by Gustav Grubbe. Odense are currently sitting on top of the log with 34 points after 13 matches played.
 
Sweden
 
Abdulie Manneh was handed his fifth start of the season; Manneh has started three of Mjllby’s last four matches. Mjallby, who have been the surprise package of the season have lost only twice in their last ten matches against Aik and Malmö. Manneh found the back of the net in the 63rd minute with a stunner. Manneh also assisted Jackob Bergström for the opener. The 3-0 derby victory has moved Mjllby to fifth position with 45 points as they keep their European dream alive.
 
 Slovakia
 
Alasana Yirajang scored his third league goal as FK Zeleziarne beat KFC Komarno 2-1 in the Slovakian top tier.
 
Saudi Arabia
 Musa Barrow scored the goal of the week when his strike beat Nita as Damac and Al Taawoun shared the spoils on matchday 7. Barrow broke the deadlock in the 27th minute, which was his fourth league goal and the second time the Gambian vice captain has scored in back-to-back matches.

Bosnia

Momodou Jatta made his official senior debut for FK Sarajevo in a 4-0 win over FK Velež in the Bosnian Premier League on Saturday.
 
Azerbaijan
 
Dembo Darboe grabbed a brace in a Netfci 3-1 win over Sabail FC. Dembo’s goals helped the Baku team to their first win of the season.
 
Senegal
 
Kabiro Joof keeps his goalscoring record for Guediawaye following his opener in a 1-1 draw against Ouakham. Champions TFC emerged 3-1 winners against ASC HLM, with midfielders Lie Kah and Matar Ceesay named in the starting XI.

The Stockholm-based Journalist is a media officer, football Scout, PR, Influencer and Digital creator. I started my journalism career as a football analyst in 2012 with Vibes FM and went on to work with CityLimit, West Coast, Hot FM, Freedom Radio, Eye Africa and Afri Radio as a content producer and presenter. In 2013, I attended Football Daily on the BBC SPORTS where we discussed the different styles of Football played in Africa. I submitted the article which was co-written alongside Momodou Bah From Living Through Despair to Being An Agent Of Hope, The Inspiring Story Of John Bass.   I have served as an advisers to Football academies, clubs, and players and others. I have hosted dozens of shows and was invited as a guest on both radio, TV and the online press. I also covered the Gambia's maiden AFCON debut in 2021 in Cameroon.
