Jidda Sukuta Nursery and LBS School Celebrates 121 Graduates in Joyous Ceremony

The Jidda Sukuta Nursery and Lower Basic School hosted a vibrant graduation ceremony today on its school grounds, honoring 121 students who completed their early education. The event celebrated 51 nursery school graduates and 70 primary school graduates, each marking the completion of three to six years of foundational schooling.

Headmaster Mr. Sulayman Jatta opened the ceremony with a heartfelt address, underscoring the transformative power of education. “Education empowers individuals to make informed decisions and exercise their rights, shaping not only their futures but also the development of our community,” Jatta said. He praised the graduates for their dedication, noting that the skills and knowledge they’ve gained will serve as a strong foundation for their future endeavors.

The ceremony, attended by guests from neighboring schools, was filled with pride and optimism. Saidou Badjie, the Alkalor of Jidda Sukuta, delivered inspiring remarks, urging the graduates to be ambassadors of their school. “Spread the values and knowledge you’ve acquired here,” Badjie said, commending the teachers, Headmaster Jatta, and the school’s chairman for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence. He emphasized the importance of applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills in their next steps.

 

A highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates and prizes to outstanding students, recognizing their academic achievements and dedication. The awards ceremony showcased the school’s focus on fostering excellence, with students beaming as they received their honors.

Badjie also highlighted the school’s growth, sharing impressive enrollment figures and praising the teaching staff for their hard work. “This institution’s progress is a testament to the collective effort of the entire school community,” he said, expressing pride in the graduates’ accomplishments and the school’s role in shaping future leaders.

The event was a joyous occasion, filled with moments of reflection and celebration. Guests from other schools joined the Jidda Sukuta community to applaud the graduates’ milestones. The school administration warmly welcomed all attendees, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
