Saturday’s 2-1 away defeat for the Seagulls has seen them drop to 13th position with only four points after matchday four of the Premier League.

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo scored and provided an assist as AFC Bournemouth beat Brighton and Hove Albion 2-1 at Vitality Stadium. Brighton hit back in the 48th minute when Mitoma nodded Yankuba Minteh’s cross. Minteh came twice, hitting the target; his shot was saved by Dorde Petrovic at his near post as Albion had offered little threat in the first half.

After Mitoma’s goal, Albion seemed to have the momentum. Minteh hit the side netting, and Danny Welbeck’s volley went narrowly wide.

After their trip along the south coast, the Seagulls will host Tottenham next Saturday.

Tarik Muharemovic rose to nod down the corner kick, which hit Fadera on the knee to surprise Provedel from close range. Fadera capped off a perfect week, which saw him scoring his first goal for the Scorpions.

In the Primavera League, Sulayman Jallow made his debut for Fiorentina as they lost 3-1 to Roma. Jallow, who replaced Conti, took only one minute to announce his presence by scoring. His countryman, Muhammed Bah of Roma, lasted 87 minutes.

“Debutant away against Halmstad on grass, and he’s only been with us a few weeks. It’s really fun for him. He’s young, and he’s mixing and giving a little, but he’s a very, very exciting guy.” Skulason said of Tamba
