Themed on “Promoting Startups and Innovation Ecosystems” the programme is expected to host five finalists at the first ever West African Startup Summit in Niamey, Niger.

The winner will be supported through an accelerated programme at the ECOWAS training centre in Abuja, Nigeria.

At the national level, the G-Quiz team have scored the pass mark which earned them second position to participate in the Niamey Summit in Niger.

Team members include Kara Jagne, Salimatou Sannoh, Ebrima Senghor and Baba Jaiteh.

Baba Jaiteh told Alkamba Times:

“that the group is extremely happy to be given the opportunity to present the G-Quiz App. We thank the Ministry of Trade and Startup Incubator for providing us with the platform to showcase our innovation. With the growing market of students across West Africa, G-Quiz really has a chance to become a unicorn in the Edtech space in the sub-region. And above all we believe it will change the lives of many young people by making sure that nothing stands in between them and their academic dreams, especially those in the rural areas with limited access to e-learning resources. We hope we’ll do a better presentation in Niger in  few weeks time to attract the investment we need to roll out the app all over the region.”

“GISQO” is a software development startup that develops user-friendly mobile applications and provides web design services and animations.
