Former Real De Banjul coach who had a brief spell at Elite United has had his contract terminated on mutual consent.
Confirming the news to The Alkamba Times, the Banjul born tactician Major Saine said, “after a couple of years with Elite united football I can confirm to you that I have parted ways with my former employers Elite on mutual consent.”
I will take this opportunity to thank the club management and the entire team for the time we spent together and I wish them all the best of luck in the future Saine added.
The Banjul based club Elite United who gained promotion to the First Division in the 2019/2020 season which was later cancelled by the Federation due to the outbreak of COVID, finished second in the standings in their first full campaign in the top flight last season.
However, things have not been going well for them this year as they are occupying 12 positions on the table with only three (3) points in five matches.
