Six Ecowas Heads of State are currently in the Gambia to grace the swearing ceremony of The Gambian Leader, President Adama Barrow.
Meanwhile, Mauritanian President Ahmed, Nana Akufo Ado of Ghana, the Togolese President, Ernes Bai Koromo of Sierra Leon, George Waya of Liberia and Guinea Bissau President Omar Sissoho Mballow are already in the country to grace the occasion, which ushers President Barrow into a new five year term.
Five heads of State were received by the Gambian Leader at the Banjul International Airport on Tuesday evening with more Presidential arrivals expected early Wednesday morning.
Muhamadou Buhari of Nigeria, Macky of Senegal and George Waye of Liberia are scheduled to be in Banjul tomorrow shortly before the inaugural ceremony.
