Al Hilal will play four test matches ahead of their CAF Champions League match against St. George.

The Sudanese giants are using the trial games as part of preparations as they face one of the giants in the CECAFA region in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.

Goals from Lamin Jarju & Khater Awad sealed a 2-0 victory for People’s Club over Asante Kotoko in a friendly, and the Gambian international maintains his goal is a morale booster.

“It boosts my confidence. I believe I can do more than I did with my former team.” Jarju stressed

Al Hilal will face Simba FC from Tanzania in their next outing, and Jarju insists he wants to go all out.

“It’s another experience, but I want to be the best, so I have to play against the best to win them.” Lamin was a record signing and believes he has to justify the price tag.

“They sign me with lots of money and expect a lot from me. It’s a huge challenge, but I’m ready for the challenge because that’s why I am being paid.”

The Senegalese Ligue1 player of the season will be working under coach Florent Ibengé and has already hailed the gaffer’s expertise.

“He is a great coach and full of experience. He demands a lot from us and has a winning mentality.” Jarju added.
