Ibou signed for Salford City FC in 2017 and debuted in the same year. He went on to help the club return to their current league competition in 2019 through playoffs and winning the EFL trophy in the same campaign.

In January 2023, Ibou achieved a milestone of 250 appearances with the club, becoming the long-serving player in the club’s history and the only player remaining in the team from the 2019 promotion-winning squad. In addition, he won his 100th clean sheet for the club in January this season.
