Hon. Bakery Y. Badjie met with the organizers of the highly anticipated Gambia Football Federation Presidential debate earlier today. They were in his office to discuss their plans for organizing the debate and seek the Ministry’s blessings and endorsements.
The GFF Presidential Debate will be the first of its kind organized by the Commission on Political Debates.
The debate aims to promote issue-based political dialogues and transparency and accord the voting delegates of the GFF and the Gambian public, at large, the opportunity to assess better the candidates running for office.
The debate, scheduled to take place on the 13th of August 2022, will bring football stakeholders, the voting delegates, and Gambians worldwide to watch it live.
