Adams and Hamza on target as Sidibeh sees Red

Ebou Adams, Abdoulie Ceesay, and Hamza Barry were all on target over the weekend as Adama Sidibeh saw red in St Johnstone’s 2-0 defeat against Dundee Utd.

England

Yankuba Minteh was making his home debut as Brighton beat Manchester United 2-1 thanks to a late winner from Joao. Minteh, who played 90 minutes, had two chances created, two key passes, won 50% of tackles, and had four recoveries.

Ebou Adams scored his first goal of the season in Derby’s 2-1 narrow defeat against Watford at the Vicarage Road. Adams gave the Rams the lead in the 2nd minute when he connected well with a cross from the left and picked his spot with a wonderful left-foot volley. Adams was handed his first start of the season and played the entire game. Bayo found the equaliser for the host before the break, while Moussa Sissoko struck from inside the box with 15 minutes left.

Goals from Louie Barry and Kyle Wootton  made it three wins out of three matches as Hatters beat Bristol Rovers. Ibou Touray played the entire game and was solid.

Scotland

Adama Sidibeh was handed a red card in the Saints 2-0 loss against Dundee Utd at the Tannadice Park. Goals from Luca Stephenson and Sanders own goal in the 88th  minute did the damage. Adama Sidibeh picked up a second yellow card after catching Will Ferry in the 84th minute.

France

Metz got its first three points of the season following their 3-1 win over Rodez. Ablie Jallow, the hero against SC Bastia, lasted for 73 minutes and was later replaced by Arthur Atta. A Sabaly brace and Ngouyamsa goal got the  visitors the points at the Stade Paul-Lignon.

Italy

Ebrima Darboe gave an assist in Frosinone’s 2-1 defeat against Spezia. Darboe was handed a start and lasted for 63 minutes. Darboe assisted Cuni in the 38th minute.

Turkey

Noah Sonko and Sivasspor were handed their first home defeat of the season when they narrowly lost 1-0 to Eyupspor.

Denmark

Vejle BK have now gone five games without a win following their 3-1 home defeat against Silkeborg. Hamza, who has two assists, already scored his first league goal of the season in the 89th minute. Musa Juwara came on in the 62nd minute when he replaced Yeni Ngbakoto.

Odense BK winning streak continued to seven following their 3-0 win over Hobro in the Danish Division One on Sunday. Gambian duo of Alasana Manneh and James Gomez played the entire match, with the latter helping the Stripes with their fifth cleansheet of the season.

Estonia

Abdoulie Ceesay’s scoring from continued as he got his first league goal in Paide’s 3-1 win over Tammeka. Ceesay scored three goals in the Europé Conference League qualifiers tournament, bringing his tally to four goals and three assists in 10 matches since signing his proffesional contract. Paide remains in fourth place with 44 points.

Ousman Ceesay was handed a start in a Nomme Utd 1-1 draw against Tallin Kalev. The Falcons offensive player lasted 60 minutes. He has played four league matches and only started one while featuring in the last two matches.

UAE

Bubacarr Trawally scored in his home debut for Al Oruba in their 5-1 defeat against Al Nasr. Trawally was making his 57th appearance in the UAE Pro League.

Champions League

Azam lost 2-1 onal aggregate despite their 1-0 advantage last week. The Tanzanian’s fell after the host APR won 2-0. Gibril Sillah played the entire game.

In Tunis, Stade de Tunis gave a commanding performance by winning 4-0. Ahmed Ndow came in the 59th minute as the Tunisians beat Jamus FC to advance to the next stage of the qualifiers.
