One Mariama Jallow of Kaur Wharftown is reported to have drowned at a creek on the outskirts of Kaur, central river region.
She is reported to have ventured into the collection of local incense (Kuntumangho) from the ricefields with other women when the incident occurred.
The late Mariama Jallow’s corpse has been recovered and the deceased was laid to rest in Kaur on Sunday.
