Gambian sensational athlete Gina Bass is through to the Semi-finals of the Women’s 200m heat at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in the United States.
The 27-year-old continental superstar secured a fourth-position finish with a time of 22.78, making her the lucky loser to secure a semi-final berth at the IAAF world athletics championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
Considered the fastest runner in the Women’s 100m heat in Africa, Gina, will set her sights on claiming her country’s first ever silverware at this championship when she takes to the track tomorrow to compete in the Semi-final of the IAAF World athletic championships.
