Gambian internationals continued to impress across Europe and beyond, with Bubacarr Tambedou and Ali Sowe leading the headlines after maintaining their excellent goal-scoring form.

England

Yankuba Minteh delivered another energetic performance for Brighton & Hove Albion in a dramatic draw. The winger started on the left before switching flanks following an injury to Diego Gómez.

Minteh was heavily involved, creating multiple chances most notably a dangerous cross that nearly resulted in a goal, only to be denied by the post and a crucial defensive touch. He played the full 90 minutes, marking his fourth consecutive start, as Brighton remain 9th in the table.

Ebou Adams returned to action after missing four games through injury, coming on for 13 minutes as Portsmouth FC secured a 1–0 victory over Leicester City on Sunday.

Ibane Bowat was the hero at Fratton Park, scoring in the 63rd minute to seal a third consecutive Championship win for Pompey.

France

Adama Bojang came on in the 79th minute, replacing Keito Nakamura, as Stade de Reims secured a dramatic 3–2 victory over Red Star FC in Ligue 2.

The match, played at Stade Auguste-Delaune, was decided in stoppage time when Malian forward Ange Martial Tia scored a 93rd-minute winner. The result moves Reims up to 4th place on the table with 51 points.

 Italy

Alieu Fadera made his first appearance since recovering from a cheekbone injury, having previously been included in the matchday squads for weeks 31 and 32.

He came on in the 64th minute, replacing Cristian Volpato. First-half goals from Volpato (42’) and M’Bala Nzola (44’) condemned Cesc Fàbregas’s side to a third consecutive match without a win.

Czech Republic

Ousman Ceesay made his senior debut for FC Slovácko, coming on late in a challenging match against Sigma Olomouc. Despite the defeat, it marked an important milestone in his career.

Turkey

Ali Sowe has now reached double figures for goal contributions this season (6 goals, 4 assists), continuing his impressive form for Çaykur Rizespor.

The Gambian international has registered four goal contributions in his last four league matches, underlining his consistency in attack. His strike against Fenerbahçe was his sixth of the campaign—and notably his fourth against the Yellow-Navy Blues.

Sowe opened the scoring in the 47th minute, finishing calmly after a swift counterattack from the left. Fenerbahçe responded in an end-to-end contest to take the lead, but French-Malian defender Modibo Sagnan secured a late equaliser for the visitors.

Alieu Cham, a former MMK Academy product, made his 21st league appearance for İstanbulspor and scored his second goal of the season.

Cham, who has now started in four consecutive matches, found the equalizer after connecting with a header from Emrecan Uzunhan on the left side.

The Gambian midfielder came close to adding a second, but his left-footed effort struck the post. Despite an early scare, İstanbulspor went on to secure a convincing 3–1 victory.

Sweden

Abdoulie Manneh made an immediate impact, providing an assist for Ludwig in the 5th minute before adding his name to the scoresheet with Mjällby’s third goal in the 32nd minute. He was later substituted in the 51st minute after an impressive display.

Latvia

Wally Fofana scored his first league goal for FK Auda in a 1–1 draw against Ogre United. The defender found the net with a header in the 66th minute and has featured in six of Auda’s seven league matches this season.

Wally Fofana

Riga FC secured a comfortable 3–0 away win over FK Grobiņa, with Muhammed Badamosi operating from the left side of midfield. Despite not scoring, Badamosi remains joint top scorer alongside Siqueira, as Riga sit second in the league standings.

Both Modou Saidy and Haruna Rashid Njie featured off the bench, with Saidy introduced at halftime. Njie has now played in back-to-back matches, while Saidy made his third substitute appearance of the campaign.

 Estonia

Bubacarr Tambedou continued his red-hot form, scoring his fifth league goal to move top of the scoring charts in the Meistriliiga following a crucial goal against FC Flora.

Paide Linnameeskond secured another win, with Pa Modou Sohna, Ebrima Jarju, and Abdou Cham all involved.

Hungary

Nfansu Njie played a decisive role as Győri ETO FC secured a crucial 1–0 victory over Ferencvárosi TC in a top-of-the-table clash.

Njie provided assist for the winning goal, taking his tally to 4 goals and 4 assists this season and strengthening his team’s title push.

Philippines

A dominant display saw Manila Diggers FC cruise to a 6–0 victory over Maharlika FC.

Ousman Gai scored twice, while Mustapha Jallow, Modou Manneh, and Baboucarr Touray also got on the scoresheet.
